Ross Mackenzie is an American actor and producer.

Biography[]

Mackenzie was born and raised in Weston, Connecticut. He graduated from Brown University before indulging in careers in finance, the music business, and online startups. He eventually settled on acting while living in San Francisco, California, for a time. It started when he took a beginners' late-time acting class at the American Conservatory Theater, and he became fond of the experience. Afterwards, he enrolled in the school's full-time Summer Training Congress acting program.

Mackenzie moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and initially divided his time between acting and advertising, managing Ford Motor Company's sponsored activities on the West Coast as a member of an ad agency called Team Detroit. Through this job, Mackenzie developed an expertise in handling branded content. After starting a proper career in acting, he has since appeared in numerous TV shows, including Mad Men, Scandal, Legit, and New Girl, as well as many national and regional ads (onscreen and on a voice-over). In his personal life, Mackenzie lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two daughters.
