Mike Randal Colter is an American actor.

BiographyEdit

Colter was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on August 26, 1976. However, he instead grew up in St. Matthews, South Carolina. He graduated from Calhoun County High School, after which he spent a year at Benedict College. Colter then transferred to the University of South Carolina, where he received a bachelor's degree in theater in 1999. He later obtained an MFA degree in acting from the Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. Colter starred in the film Million Dollar Baby, in which he portrayed boxer Big Willie Little. He has also guest-starred on the TV shows Law & Order: Trial By Jury, The Good Wife, ER, The Parkers, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Criminal Minds, as well as several made-for-TV movies. His cousin is fellow actress Viola Davis.

Colter portrayed Long Distance Serial Killer Colin Bramwell, an ex-sniper for the South African special forces hired to kill a woman during the Kennedy assassination, in the Season Nine episode Final Shot.
