Melora Walters is an American actress.

Biography

Walters was born in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, to American parents on October 21, 1959. She was partly raised in that country and in the Netherlands before her parents returned to the U.S. with her. Walters attended high school at Lake Forest Academy-Ferry Hall, which is located in Lake Forest, Illinois. Starting an acting career, she appeared in Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, and Magnolia'. She has also appeared on TV shows such as Roseanne, Seinfeld, NYPD Blue, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. In 2003, Walters portrayed Lila in Cold Mountain. The following year, she starred as Andrea Treborn in the The Butterfly Effect. She also guest-starred on Desperate Housewives and Big Love.

In her personal life, Walters was married to actor/producer Christopher Scotellaro from 1990 to 1994 before divorcing him. She then remarried Nip/Tuck actor Dylan Walsh in 1996. The two had two children together: a son named Thomas and a daughter named Joanna. Walters and Walsh then divorced in 2003. In June 2008, she married cinematographer Alex Vendler, although she filed for divorce in September 2010. The outcome of the divorce filing is unknown.

On Criminal Minds

Walters portrayed Donna Mangold, a member of an online sex trafficking ring, who is responsible for the abductions of Meg Callahan and Markayla Davis. The character appeared in the Season Ten episodes Protection and The Hunt.
