Marika Domińczyk is a Polish-American actress.
Biography
Domińczyk was born in Kielce, Poland, on July 7, 1980. Her parents were Aleksandra and Miroslaw Domińczyk; her father Miroslaw was a leader in the Polish Solidarity movement. She has two sisters named Dagmara and Veronika, who both also became American actresses. At the age of three, she and the rest of her family immigrated to the U.S. and first settled in New York City, New York. As an adult, Domińczyk became an actress and has been known to be cast in Hispanic roles despite being Polish.
On Criminal Minds
Domińczyk portrayed Lida Taffert, the Polish mother of an abducted and murdered American boy who was also abducted by her son's killer. She appeared in the Season Nine episode The Caller.
