John L. Grady is an American actor.


Grady was born in San Jose, California, on April 21, 1965. He launched an acting career off-Broadway, starring in Spalding Gray: Stories Left to Tell. He later made his off-Broadway debut with Blue Man Group. He provided stories for the Moth in both New York City and Los Angeles. His stories have aired on KCRW, CBC Radio, and on the Moth Radio Hour on NPR. He attended the University of California at Irvine, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre. Grady also receiving training at the National Ballet School in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and danced professionally with Ballet British Columbia in Vancouver. He hosted a one-man show, Fear Factor: Canine Edition, which has toured fringe festivals throughout the U.S. and Canada. The show was chosen Best of the Hollywood Fringe and Best of the Festival in Orlando, Winnipeg, and Edmonton.

Grady portrayed Hayman Vasher, a reclusive anarchist who hacked into a passenger jet full of people and crashed it in preparation for a series of terrorist attacks a la 9/11. He appeared in the Season Ten episode A Thousand Suns.
