Gary Hudson is an American-Canadian actor.


Hudson was born on March 26, 1956, in Newport News, Virginia, but was raised in historic Hilton Village, where his father was also born. At some point, he developed an interest in acting and decided to pursue it as a full-time career. He left Virginia in 1977 after attending Christopher Newport College for two years, in order to pursue his acting career in Los Angeles, California. Hudson's first acting job was in the film Hooper.

Since then, Hudson has starred in numerous other films and TV shows. His acting credits include series regular roles in Safe at Home, As the World Turns, Paradise Falls, Santa Barbara, and Wild Roses. For the latter series, he was nominated for Best Actor at The Monte-Carlo International Television Festival. Hudson also had recurring roles on Smallville, Dynasty, The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr., The Tracey Ullman Show, Air America, and LA Heat. In addition, he guest-starred in shows like Cold Case, ER, Missing, Mike Hammer, Doc, Too Close for Comfort, Mama's Family, Three's Company, Matt Houston, The Facts of Life, and Hotel.

On Criminal MindsEdit

Hudson portrayed Tim, an Alcoholics Anonymous attendant killed by Raymond Donovan during a mass shooting, in the Season Six episode The Thirteenth Step.
