Todd Stashwick is an American actor.

Biography[]

Stashwick was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 16, 1968. He was raised in the suburbs right outside of the city. As a child, he always loved making people laugh, and as a result, he aspired to perform at Chicago's famous The Second City when he became an adult. Soon after graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in Theatre, he began performing at several local improv theaters. In 1992, Stashwick's dream came true when he was hired to tour nationally with The Second City. Following productions at The Second City Detroit and The Second City Northwest, he decided to move to New York, where he formed a company of improvisers and began staging the underground critically acclaimed Burn Manhattan all over the city. From late 1997 to the spring of 2000, he worked on Late Night With Conan O'Brien, in which he performed as part of their rotating stable of comedy actors.

Work in TV and film ultimately drew him to Los Angeles, California. There, Stashwick's expertise got him to land roles in pilots and series and film. However, Stashwick continued to produce, perform, and teach. He formed his own improvisational theatre, which he co-founded in North Hollywood; it is called The Hothouse. In addition to that, he performs annually with the Macabre improv cabaret The Doubtful Guests. He has also taught and performed his unique style of avant-garde improvisation internationally. Stashwick directed a show in Liverpool called Hoof!, which still conducts tours throughout Europe. He is also the writer and co-creator of the online action/horror web comic Devil Inside, which he updates weekly on his personal website. Stashwick's work subsequently brought him to comic book conventions across the U.S.

In his personal life, Stashwick resides in Los Angeles with his wife Charity. He married her in 1997 while in the middle of Times Square, in front of twenty close family members and friends, as well as the entire population of New York City. The couple has two children. Their household also includes two dogs, two cats, and a small parrot as pets. In his spare time, Stashwick enjoys surfing, using the ukulele, and writing screenplays and pilots.

On Criminal Minds[]

Stashwick portrayed robber-turned-spree killer and ex-convict Eddie Lee Wilcox in the Season Nine episode "Route 66".
