Dionne Gipson is an American actress and singer.


Gipson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on May 27, 1970. She debuted onstage with the musical Dream Girls. Other theatrical productions she starred in include Purlie, The Life, and For Colored Girls. She also sung professionally for singers and bands; wrote songs for soundtracks; and played roles in films such as Josie and the Pussy Cats, Trois, and Black Dynamite.

Gipson portrayed Renee Morales, the mother of two abducted children, in the Season Twelve episode Sick Day.
