Devon Gearhart is an American actor.

Biography[]

Gearhart was born on May 5, 1995, in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was raised. He began acting at the age of seven, appearing in national commercials with Burger King, PBS, Pizza Hut, and Cartoon Network. Gearhart's movie debut came in 2004 when he acquired the role of the young Bobby in Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius. He then appeared in the made-for-TV movies The Brooke Ellison Story and Warm Springs.

Later on, Gearhart landed lead roles in two indie films, with the stories of each film being told through the eyes of his characters. The first was Canvas, while the second was Dog Days of Summer. Earlier in 2005, Gearhart had starred as Jake in the Life Is My Movie production Little Men.

Gearhart then portrayed Naomi Watts's and Tim Roth's son in Funny Games, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. He also appeared in Changeling in 2008. The following year, he appeared in the film Shorts. In addition to feature and made-for-TV films, Gearhart has appeared in TV shows, including Lost, Law & Order: SVU, and Criminal Minds.
