TriviaEdit

  • Though this is the sixth episode of the season, it aired a week before If the Shoe Fits, the prior episode, both episodes being scheduled out-of-order.
  • Travis Gibson, who guest-stars as Jake McCauley, is the middle son of Thomas Gibson, who portrays Hotch in Criminal Minds and is also the director of this episode. Also, Gibson's daughter Agatha plays an uncredited role as the trickster girl the camera follows until it finds McCauley. In addition, his oldest son James shadowed him behind-the-scenes to learn how an episode of a TV series is prepared, directed, and edited.
