Boo Arnold (born Earl R. Arnold) is an American actor.
Arnold was born as Earl R. Arnold in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, on February 7, 1966. He was raised in a small town located in central Texas. His father gave him the nickname of "Boo" early on in his life and it stuck. He graduated with a BA in Advertising and Marketing from Texas Tech University in 1989, where he also played baseball and was a member of the Texas Epsilon Chapter of Phi Delta Theta. Arnold also completed a Masters Degree in Divinity from the Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1997. Following the seminary, he became involved with reconciliation efforts in Croatia and Bosnia after the war ended there in 1995. When he turned thirty years old, Arnold started an acting career, though it was part-time at the moment.
At some point, he visited Los Angeles, California, to spend time with his childhood friend George Eads (who would go on to achieve fame from his role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation). After taking in the sights and sounds of the city, Arnold decided to move to Los Angeles in 2001 to pursue acting as a full-time career. While in Los Angeles, he studied acting at Judith Weston Studio for Actors and Directors. Afterwards, he began booking roles in scripted television and film. He guest-starred on the prime-time drama series Justice and had recurring roles on Justified, Red Road, Nashville, and CSI: Miami. He also guest-starred on Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Perception, The Mentalist, and Hawaii Five-0.
