Robert Michael Kane (credited as Bo Kane) is an American actor.

Biography

Kane was raised in Griffith, Indiana, and had two older brothers. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the boxing team, and he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He later attended the University of Denver, where he received his MBA. However, Kane shifted his interests to acting when he studied at Second City in Chicago and was hired as a precision driver for the film The Blues Brothers. He moved to Los Angeles, California, where he began an acting career in the 80s.

During that time, Kane also landed a volunteer job as an equestrian coach for the California Special Olympics. He held the position for a total of sixteen years, and coached athletes participating in the World Games. He also worked as a former newspaper columnist and an author, having wrote the book 50 Acting Scenes For Teens. In his personal life, he married Denise Loveday, with whom he had two children. Kane also coaches kids' baseball, basketball, and acting coach; and is an avid video cameraman, working on independent projects and casting athletes for film and commercial projects.
