Blake Heron is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Marty Preston in Shiloh.


Heron was born in Sherman Oaks, California, on January 11, 1982, to divorced parents. He moved with his mother Liz from Atlanta, Georgia, to New York, New York, before finally settling on Burbank, California. It was at Burbank where he started his acting career. When he was thirteen, Heron made his film debut in Tom and Huck, followed by the short-lived series Reality Check. He then starred in several made-for-TV movies such as Trilogy of Terror II. In 1997, he portrayed his best-known role as Marty Preston in Shiloh. After graduating from high school in 2000, Heron portrayed conspiring dark teen characters in Cheaters and Blast. After appearing in shows such as Boston Public, Family Law, and The Guardian, Heron portrayed Specialist Galen Bungum in We Were Soldiers. He also made an appearance in Dandelion.

On September 8, 2017, at 35 years old, paramedics were called to Heron's home and found him unresponsive. 40 minutes later, Heron was pronounced dead.

Heron portrayed rapist, serial killer, and robber Benjamin Wade in the Season Eleven episode Outlaw.
