Bjørn Johnson is an American actor and fight choreographer.

BiographyEdit

Johnson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended George Williams College, receiving a BA in Dramatic Literature from there. He then began an acting career, appearing in countless theater productions, including Trio, Cyrano: The Musical, and the first national tour of Les Misérables. Johnson also guest-starred on several TV shows, including Dexter, Mad Men, ER, Sopranos, Nip/Tuck, Law and Order, Criminal Minds, and Chuck, among others. He also starred in a variety of films such as The Hunger and Beerfest, as well as appearing in numerous TV commercials. In addition to his acting, he was also a singer and a stage-combat/fight choreographer for the Metropolitan Opera and The Boston Opera, the latter being learned from his experience as an apprentice to B.H. Barry, a preeminent fight choreographer in the country, for six years. To further his studies in acting, Johnson spent fifteen years in New York City, New York, specifically at Circle-In-The-Square Conservatory, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and Juilliard School of Drama and Opera Programs. In 2001, he opened the Bjørn Johnson Acting Studio in Los Angeles, California.

Johnson portrayed Doctor Charles Cipolla, the doctor of spree killer Darrin Call and one of his fatal victims, who appeared in the Season Five episode Haunted.
